In Regards to the Now and Future Condition of Our Nation

I’ve been quite pessimistic about the direction of the Unites States for the past few years. Just recently, I’ve been making some pretty bold predictions and holding pretty strong opinions about what is going to happen in America over the next few years.

For the past few months, I’ve been proposing the thought of an inevitable war with Iran. I saw this start months ago with Iran’s statement to increase their uranium production. Israel’s prime minister made some statement along the lines of having a nuclear bomb pointed at Iran that’s ready to be ignited if they continue this production. Well, ultimately, Iran isn’t stopping, and is even making claims that they aren’t worried about a war because they don’t think America or Israel is in a position to go to war. That made me laugh, seeing as we are already in a war with their neighbor; and we all know America’s seemingly war entry policy, especially since the Great War. A journalist in Iran also claimed in his very recent article that the US are setting up troops in Iran.

To me, this is one of the initial beginnings to unrest. People are already on edge, and getting more aggravated as gas prices continue to soar past $4/gallon. I think that Obama is going to become the next president, and when he doesn’t pull out of Iraq, on top of whatever situation may be arising or taking place with Iran, many naïve and gullible Americans will be outraged. I think Obama is gaining a false trust with too many Americans that will ultimately lead to his electoral victory, and early appraisal, but ultimately his downfall as a decent and trustworthy president. Granted, all speculation, I don’t see this future as entirely unlikely.

The coup de grâce, as bold as this statement may seem, is going to be an (attempted) assassination of the then president, Barack Obama. I think that if anything controversial happens when he is in office (which seems inevitable), it most certainly would not be out of the realm of possibility for some crazed, southern, racist war-vet to attempt or plot out some kind of assassination. The outcome of this could be a number of things, including some sort of political revolution.
