If you’re an avid cell phone photographer, an Ohio art gallery want’s to make you part of it’s new exhibit.
Daiv Whaley and the Brandt Gallery Cleveland, Ohio, are seeking submissions for a new instillation called At The Cellular Level - Cell Phone Photography as Art. The exhibit, which will open in November 2008, will feature cell phone photography from professional and amateur artists from around the world. But first, they need the photos.

For the second year in a row, Nikon won the nod in J.D.Power and Assoc. 2008 “camera usage and satisfaction” study. More specifically, Nikon’s line of professional SLRs, the D series, took the top of the list by storm. However, Canon swooped up the list, as well, tying for the top spot.
Both camera companies received high marks, with Nikon taking full points in overall rating, operation and performance, while Canon topped out on picture quality and overall rating.

SanDisk announced it is now shipping a new line of professional-grade memory cards, the Extreme IV CompactFlash line. The company said the cards run 12.5% faster and a 16GB card will allow professional photographers the ability to shoot thousands of hig-quality images.
A faster card means less time between shots and a faster upload-to-computer speed. That saves time and allows for better shots, especially when action is concerned.
