VPOD: On the Fringe

Someone or something said to be "on the fringe" means someone or something not familiar, not mainstream, perhaps even a bit radical. And one way to live fashion on the fringe is to add, well...fringe.

Today's VPOD is one great example of what I'm talking about. This 1960s vintage silk blazer by Christian Dior has the classic cut and quality you'd expect but then it takes it up a notch or two with the addition of oodles of organza fringe around the collar.

It's a stunning find for a vintage fashionista!
