Online Poker tips from Jack Spade just for you!
If I haven't made this clear before, let's make this very clear now: it's not the cards that matter, it's figuring out the head of the player. Yes, there's exceptions to that, as with anything. If you're constantly getting good cards it's going to help you win for a while. These
online poker tips are designed to help you become an expert of understanding what other players are thinking. As always, if you want more

Ironically, knowing what a regular
is thinking is usually simpler than what a donkey is thinking. Now, right off the bat, let's start with an example that I often use against regulars because I know how they'll usually react:
Getting Inside the Head of a Regular Hand Example #1:
Hero (out of position): A10Flop: 10-10-2Now, what does a regular (aka villain) expect you to do if you really had a 10? He would expect you to check to him and try to slow play it. Well, here's what I usually do in this situation: instantly bet pot. There's a good chance he's going to raise you here since he's in position. You instantly call.
Again, if you take a few seconds and act like you are thinking about it, that's exactly how a regular or decent player will interpret it, he'll think you're "acting" like it's a hard decision. If you instantly call, it's going to be interpreted more as you having a medium/low pocket pair.
Turn: 5What do you do when he tries to keep up the bluff and raises you again?
Instantly call again.
River: 8Don't check, because the regular will almost always end up checking behind you. Betting 70-80% usually doesn't work, because unless he's tilting against you he's unlikely to push on the river when bluffing.
From experience I've found the best move to make on the river is to bet some ridiculous amount like ¼ of the pot size if not 1/5 or smaller. Why? Because this gives the regular a lot of fold equity, meaning you bet such a small amount that he can raise just to the size of the pot thinking he could push you out of the hand.
Either he's going to raise you trying to bluff you one final time, he'll just call and flip over a medium pocket pair or maybe even a high pocket pair, or he'll just fold. But as you can see, there's a better chance you'll make some extra cash by making the above play on the river card. How am I so sure? Click
