Description of Ornella Barra, Manager of the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division

Ornella Barra was selected Manager of the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Division in January 2009, having precedently been chosen to the Board of Alliance Boots in July 2006 as Wholesale & Commercial Affairs Director. Precedently to the gathering of Alliance UniChem and Boots Group she was Executive Director of Alliance UniChem with wholesale and commercial affairs responsibilities, having been chosen to its Board in 1997 when Alliance Santé merged with Alliance UniChem. Preliminarily , she was a Director of Alliance Santé and General Manager of Alleanza Salute Italia. She is a pharmacist by career and is as a special professor at the University of Nottingham's School of Pharmacy.
