Chess Masters Compete in World Championship
Magnus Carlsen (L), the world's number one chess player, plays Alexander Grischuk in the Candidates Tournament at the IET on Savoy Place on March 28, 2013 in London, England. Carlsen, 22, became the youngest player to be ranked world No.1 on January 1, 2010 and his current chess ranking (a peak rating of 2872) is the highest of all time. The Candidates Tournament features eight of the world's top chess players and will determine which player will challenge Viswanathan Anand for the title of World Champion in November 2013. The tournament will be the strongest of its kind in history and have a total prize fund of 510,000 Euros.
