Senate Judiciary Committee Holds Hearing On DREAM Act

The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act, or DREAM Act, would provide conditional permanent residency to certain illegal alien students who graduate from U.S. high schools, are deemed to be of good moral character, arrived in the U.S. as minors, and have been in the country continuously for at least five years prior to the bill's enactment.
