Conor Murphy (4th-L) of Sinn Fein speaks at a press conference in Stormont's Great Hall on September 10, 2015 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. A political crisis has erupted in the province following the murder of former IRA member Kevin McGuigan Sr last month. The Police Service of Northern Ireland stated that they believed there was IRA involvement in the killing of one of its former members. The Democratic Unionist Party has said that if the Northern Ireland Executive government is not adjourned or suspended until a thorough investigation into any IRA involvement has been concluded that their ministers will stand down within 24 hours. Sinn Fein has denied IRA involvement in the murder and refuted that the IRA still exists.
