Head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Heinz Fromm speaks during a press conference after the inauguration of the new anti-right-wing terrorism center at the Ministry of Interior on December 16, 2011 in Berlin, Germany. Authorities have launched the center, which will coordinate efforts by Germanys various law enforcement agencies to fight right-wing crime, in response to a series of murders and bombings by at least two neo-Nazis linked to a group called the "National Socialist Underground", or NSU, between 2000 and 2007. The case is proving a huge embarrassment to German police as the neo-Nazi connection to the crimes only came to light after the two men committed suicide in November following a bank robbery.
