Hurricane Center In Miami Monitors First Large Storm Of Season In Gulf Of Mexico

The Hurricane center reported that environmental conditions are forecast to become more conducive for development through early next week, and a subtropical or tropical depression is likely to form by late Saturday over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to bring the threat of heavy rain and flash flooding to parts of Florida lasting into next week.
