Funeral Held for Jack Kyle
Former British Lions Willie John McBride (L) and Mike Gibson (R) attend the thanksgiving service for Ireland rugby legend Jack Kyle as it takes place at Fisherwick Presbyterian Church on December 2, 2014 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Kyle passed away peacefully at home at the age of 88 last week. He will be remembered as a hugely talented fly-half who won 46 caps for Ireland and six for the British and Irish Lions. In 1948, the Belfast man helped Ireland win the Five Nations Grand Slam for the first time and in 2002 was voted the greatest ever Irish player. When his playing career was over, Kyle worked for more than 30 years as a consultant surgeon in Chingola, Zambia and was appointed an OBE in 1959.
