Colorado Ski Areas Open For The Season(Jeff Meyer)

The Breckenridge, Colorado trio rode the first chair at Loveland Ski Area on October 15, 2008 in Georgetown, Colorado. Loveland Ski Area and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado called it a tie as they both became the first ski resorts to open for the season in the United States. Both resorts opened with an 18" base of man made snow.
