U.S. President George W. Bush (3rd L) and first lady Laura Bush (3rd R) attend the unveiling of their official portraits at the National Portrait Gallery with Secretary of the Smithsonia Institution Wayne Clough (L), artist Robert Anderson (2nd L), artist Aleksander Titovets (2nd R) and Director of the National Portrait Gallery Martin Sullivan December 19, 2008 in Washington, DC. The portrait of the president was painted by his Yale classmate Anderson of Connecticut. The informal pose was painted from photographs taken at Camp David in April and September of 2008.
