Kilpatrick has been charged with 10 felony counts, including accusations he lied in court to hide a sexual relationship with his former chief-of-staff. The Detroit city council requested the hearing, saying Kilpatrick misled members over a lawsuit settlement with former police officers for more than $8 million.
