U.S. and Iraq troops were on patrol when they encountered a group of suspected Shia insurgents in the predominantly Sunni neighborhood. After the suspected insurgents began to run, the soldiers opened fire. The troops followed a blood trail through three houses before encountering the suspected insurgent hiding under a bed, removed him from the house, treated him for his leg wound and transported him for further medical attention. Britain's Queen Elizabeth II visits Stirling Castle the home of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland on July 3, 2007 in Stirling, Scotland. Family members of slain American soldiers have flown in from across the country for Memorial Day.
