Fiordland Crested Penguins Mr Munro (R) approaches female Chalky after their introduction in their enclosure at Taronga Zoo April 19, 2007 in Sydney, Australia. Mr Munro arrived at the zoo in November 2006 after surviving being washed up on a remote beach following a 2,000 km swim. He was nursed back to health and was today introduced to two female Fiordland Crested Penguins Chalky and Milford, who have resided at the zoo for over a decade without a male to fertilize their eggs.
