Governor Patrick’s latest approval rating was recently released and it appears that he is taking a nose dive with the voters of Massachusetts. 68% of those polled are dissatisfied with the governor, up 21% since January. (Naturally his cronies in the media are claiming that the poll must be flawed.)
It appears as if all of the tax hike talk without cutting many of the 2000 state employees that he added to the payroll, along with his condescension, is finally catching up with him... Read Full Story
The administration decided that they needed a new publicity photo of Air Force One so they decided to fly it over Ground Zero at low altitude and buzz the Statue of Liberty trailed by fighter jets. They didn’t think the sight of low flying planes near Ground Zero would bring back memories of September 11th and/or panic that maybe this was another attack so they didn’t bother to notify anybody of the scheduled fly over. Or maybe they just didn’t think, period.

Nancy Pelosi is now on the record as saying that a Value Added Tax is on the table in order to pay for the healthcare reform bill. The Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax that is put on manufacturers as value is added to the product that is being manuforctured.
Nancy Pelosi has also said that this VAT, if implemented, will not affect middle class Americans. This is bullshit. If a tax is implemented on a manufacturer that tax will be passed on to the consumer. A tax is nothing more than an... Read Full Story
Earlier today I argued that Michael Steele's apologies to social conservatives reveal deep divisions in the Republican Party. Republicans are so divided that they are beating each other up and engaging in the same kind of suicidal behavior (like a rumored no-confidence vote for Steele) that plagued Democrats in the past. Now, Ed Rendell, the Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania, has tossed some "bait" towards the Republicans. Rendell says that Steele's "days are numbered" because Republican... Read Full Story

Fox News Channel Hemmer latest to advance made-up charge that Jennings knew of "statutory rape" case and "never reported it" Fox News' Bill Hemmer continued his network's attacks on Department of Education official Kevin Jennings by claiming that Jennings knew of a "statutory rape" case involving a student but "never reported it." However, Hemmer ignored that Jennings' attorney wrote in a 2004 letter that the student was 16 years old, which Jennings' book appears to support, and that 16 is... Read Full Story
People are beginning to realize that global warming is a hoax. According to this poll a record number of Americans believe the issue of global warming is being exaggerated. While they may be unwilling to call it an outright hoax, probably because they don’t want to seem uncaring, it is nevertheless good news that people are beginning to second guess what they are hearing reported on this issue. The more the people question what they hear on global warming the more people will realize they... Read Full Story
