posted by tgx874sah
You
Your nausea must begin to diminish and your frequent urination will cease. Indeed, your uterus is growing back into the abdominal cavity and frees your bladder which is now more compressed.
You can feel some pain caused by tension and stretch ligaments of the uterus.
If you have lost your appetite it will be back now, but be careful not to eat any way and watch your weight.

Your baby
It measures 6 cm and weighs about 18 g. It starts moving his head and arms but you still do not feel its movements.
His brain has grown and its nerve cells multiply very quickly.
The head is still very big compared to the rest of the body, but his face takes on a human form. The inner ear is continuing its development and external party begins to emerge.
The buds of permanent teeth emerge and bulbs hairs are starting to take shape.
The vital organs continue their development (lungs, kidneys). The liver is rather impressive; it represents 10% of total body weight and manufactures blood cells.

Good to Know
This week you'll spend your first ultrasound, when loaded with emotion because this is the first time you see your baby. It would confirm the smooth running of your pregnancy and monitor your baby's development.
If you are not immune against toxoplasmosis, a blood test is required monthly to check serology.

Sex During Pregnancy

posted by tgx874sah
Can I have Sex during Pregnancy? the short answer is Yes and No :D

It depend on your pregnancy, if it is a normal or a risky pregnancy, but sex is considered safe during all stages of pregnancy, this doesn't mean you'll necessarily want to have it, some women can feel uncomfortable as doing it and some have more desire of it, this desire fluctuates during certain stages in the pregnancy, In this context some studies indicate a second-trimester increase, preceding a decrease in sexual desire.

Despite there sexual desire some couples worry about whether having intercourse will hurt the baby or wonder if the baby can feel it. In a normal pregnancy you don't have to worry about this because the baby is protected from the thrusting of sex by the amniotic fluid in the womb and by the woman's abdomen.

The Safe Way:

Pregnant couples should adapt their sexual positions. After five months, resting on the back can decrease the blood supply to the uterus. Sex positions such as side positions that support the abdomen or with her on top --- which doesn't put pressure on the abdomen --- may be safer. Of course, pregnant women should always avoid lying directly on their abdomens.

It is better to contact your doctor if you're unsure whether sex is safe for you and you should keep communicating your desires with your partner for any questions or concerns about sex, during and after a pregnancy.

The sides of the brain begin to develop.

At this stage of development your baby is very vulnerable because the formation of its principal organs (stomach, pancreas, kidneys, lungs and liver) is nearing completion. This is their last baby (I think!) and her strawberry blonde curls are so sweet and she's at the really cute age where their little personalities start to show through. She cracked me up today by doing all the hand gestures to the song "Wheels on the bus go round and round" - I sang it a lot today...well we all did, Mom and sister too! Now I can't get that song out of my head! Her session today was an absolute dream...a little cold but after a few minutes she just explored the Botanic Gardens and gave me so many good captures it was really hard to edit them out! Definitely adding many of her images to my website - which is overdue for some newer work anyway!
