Models Attend Gladiator School of Rome: Instructor Alex Mariotti

Challenge: Train to fight but keep it modelesque-composed and elegant;fierce but tough.

Notable Gladiator 5 Frame Photo Shoot

Anya: poses reflected an ability to take direction
Katarzyna: poses took a strong stance
Whitney: poses reflected confidence
Dominique: prettiest shoot but that was not the challenge goal

Winner:

Whitney receives 1,000 euros and selects Anya to go shopping in Rome.

Tyra’s Photo Shoot Challenge

Tyra’s Vision: “Exaggeration of an Italian renaissance woman that went to the club.”
Dominique: Most interesting shot. “I was not excited to shoot you. I thought that you were not that high fashion.” Tyra was very impressed.
Katarzyna: Has potential but needs to push herself.
Whitney: Did not meet Tyra’s expectations. Whitney made the mistake of looking directly into the light which made her look mad.
Anya: Looked fabulous but the judges believe that she may not be able to stand up and be America’s Next Top Model. They believe that “she is week in personality.”

Katarzyna: You are beautiful but you have mediocre talent. You need to push yourself.
Whitney: You have a banging body, gorgeous face, a stunningness not found in your pictures. Judges feel that you are getting stuck-show diversity in the beauty that you have.

Katarzyna: You are very beautiful
Anya: So blonde and So skinny;young and fresh
Wendy: So American. You have a great beautiful face and you can do what you want with it
Lauren: You are the tallest and also very beautiful

Anya wins the challenge and receives a red carpet event gown

Fatima’s Italian pronunciation was the best

Fatima:

her covergirl commercial was a success. “It was as if she were selling sexual chocolate,” says Tyra.

Whitney:

the judges believe that her performance was fake, disengenuos-not believable. However, Tyra did like her commercial shoot. Tyra says that it was a little over the top but she thought it could have been a real commercial.

Anya:

Tyra thought her performance was “a piece of dookey (Tra did say this on television again!)”.

Dominique:

You had incredible energy but it was a “hoochiefied” Italian commercial.

Lauren:

It looks as though you didn’t try-just threw it away.

It looked as though you were an Italian woman. Tyra saw boring but others believe that she did better than most.

The winner, Anya, received: A private 7-up photo shoot and to “live the life of a Supermodel.” And naturally Supermodels get paid, so Anya also received a $10,000.00 check from 7-up.

Judges were disappionted because Fatima lost her Green Card in Atlanta, so she didn’t have a Visa or Passport to travel abroad. Fatima srambled to get her documents from the Consulate and missed a photo shoot. Therefore, the judges had to consider her body of work in order for her to continue on in the competition. Fatima’s body of work was much stonger than that of
