Many baby showers focus on one or two fun areas that make the shower a party, but the best baby shower invitation ideas also create cherished memories as a gift that lasts for years after the celebration. The best baby shower invitation ideas help everyone to have fun without adding stress on the expectant mother. The normal card size is 4x6, and if you plan on folding your cards over, you should allow for that.

Many baby shower planners like to tie in the baby shower invitations with the theme of the shower. For instance you can look through some of the past baby shower invitations that you have received. There are so many ways to be creative with the invitations. If you don not have a theme then choose an invitation with a general baby themed design like animals, baby bottles, babies, stars, rattles, cartoon characters, etc.

You can fill small containers with a fragrant lavender bubble bath and tie the 'pass' to it with a ribbon. If you can hold the party at a spa, so much the better. Write down the invitation on a blown up balloon (do not tie the balloon off as you're going to need to deflate it).

If the mom is having twins, then include two socks or shirts so everyone knows this is a twin baby shower invitation. If you can afford it and plan to invite only women, why not arrange with beautician friends to help you to organize a treat for them all. Whew! Heading back to the land of livermush and lightning bugs, but what a great trip we had. The reaction to the new Wry Baby goodies was super positive. Which means you’ll be seeing our funny baby clothes and baby shower gifts in even more stores near you this Summer!

Our new book, The New Parents’ Fun Book, which you’ve totally seen, was a big favorite. So was our new Welcome to Motherhood Burp Cloth Set (everyone went ape over the quality) and the new organic gift sets were a huge hit-ola. Wha? Didn’t know we had an organic line? You will soon, my friend. You will soon!

Air Wry Baby waits for Wry Baby Dave to get back from buying some beef jerky at the Phoenix Airport. While Wry Baby does have a limited supply of our funny baby clothes on board for when we use the jet for store visits, sometimes we forget to replenish our beef jerky supply. And toilet paper sometimes.

Doesn’t that sound exciting? Like we crashed it or something? Wry Baby Dave and all Wry Baby’s funny baby clothes, unique shower gifts are on display in L.A.’s Fashion Center this week at the California Market Center Gift & Home Show. Oh, and we didn’t crash it, we have space on the ultra-hip 13th floor with California Marketing Associates (our new West Coast rep group). If you’re in the area, come by and say “hello” and watch me eat a hot dog. They have free hot dogs.

I didn’t really mean to, but I’m totally blocking some new funny baby clothes that we’re introducing this Summer. Which is fortunate, because I can’t really tell you about it now.
