Taking a tour of your local brewery is a great way to spend a day. You'll learn something, they usually free and the best part you'll probably get to try the beer.

For example, the Flying Dog Brewery in Denver, CO gives FREE brewery tours weekdays at 4pm and Saturdays at 1pm and 3pm. The Wild Goose Brewery in Frederick, MD gives a free tour every Saturday at 1pm.
