EverQuest Expansions Announced

Sony Online Entertainment has announced expansions for EverQuest and EverQuest II. The expansion for EverQuest is called Seeds of Destructions and will ship on October 21. EverQuest II players get The Shadow Odyssey expansion, which releases on November 18.

These expansions are part of SOE’s Living Legacy Program, which attempts to attract old and new players to EverQuest’s universe. SOE President John Smedley said in a statement: “Both of these expansions are rich in content and adventure, and will provide our players with hours of excitement as they explore the online world of Norrath.”

The Shadow Odyssey is EverQuest II’s fifth expansion and will introduce 20 new zones, such as the Moors of Ykesha, a massive outdoor zone once known as Innothule Swamp, and the legendary dungeon Guk.

Seeds of Destruction, on the other hand, is the 15th expansion to EverQuest, and allows gamers to hire non-playable characters to aid them in their adventures. In addition, SOE has raised the level cap to 85, which gives players access to new high-level raid content, spells, and advancement abilities.
