There is always a question what are exactly cheats and what are just some hints and tips. Most of things that we wrote on this site are not gaia online cheats but tips. Although, sites like Cheatsguru.com have some real cheats for gaia online. Today I found one but haven’t any success with it. I’ll post it anyway, probably somebody will succeed with it. It’s based on cookie stuff and need to get some free gaia gold. Here it is:

What I have here is a slightly complicated.easy cheat that helps you gain gold Extremely fast.. It is fairly complicated so pay attention. It is not a hack - it merely involves playing around with browser cookies - you see, the Gaia client stores a cookie detailing what you were doing last time you logged out. By fiddling around with the information, we can make it look like you have been gaining gold for a lot longer than you really were. Follow these instructions very carefully:

Log out of Gaia

Open up your email account or program. This is so that we can first send a request to the Gaia cookie server in order to decode the information contained within the cookie.

Create a new email and address then email to littlebloodwolf@yahoo.com (They use this so it wont be easy to find the email.)

You MUST enter the subject line as “DEFAULT” (obviously without the quotation marks)

In the email, type this exactly:
def_cookie::set();
config::mode(cfgDecode);
config::replymode(the email you used to sign to Gaia);
authorise::set(your username, your password);
config::replyto(email);
def_cookie::go();

except you must replace the bold words with the relevant information (i.e. your Gaia username and password, and your email address) - this is so the cookie request server can authorise and locate your account, and know where to send the reply

Send the email

Wait for the server reply - this will usually take a couple of minutes, the server is automated and very fast. Occasionally if the server is down it may take a while longer, obviously however long it is until it is back up again.

Open the reply email and view the contents. There is a fair amount of information in here, and most of it we do not want. What you need to do first is find and locate a line that starts with:
GAIA_ORIG_FILE =

and at the end of the line will be a file name - this is the cookie you need to open. locate the file on your harddrive and open it in notepad.

Now search within the cookie file you have open in notepad, for a line that starts with:
GAIA_ACTLNGTH_STAT =

At the end of this line will be a number followed by “;”. You need to change the number to 999. Usually the number will be in the range 1-100 depending on what stage of whatever activity you were doing. DO NOT ENTER HIGHER NUMBERS THAN 999. I have tried this out on some of my small accounts and it [censored]s up your account completely. 999 is the maximum.

Save the file. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE.

Log onto Gaia to complete

Anyway, I think the cheat is too old, but if you succeed write in comments, how you’ve done it.

It has been almost 1 year since i join Gaia Online.

For those who do not know what Gaia Online is, i will tell you what it is and the link to the site.

What is Gaia?
Gaia is an online community with games, message boards, and a virtual economy. Members can hang out, chat, create their own virtual characters and use "Gaia Gold" to outfit them with clothes and accessories.
Who can join Gaia?
Gaia is open to anyone 13 years of age and older.
Is Gaia appropriate for teens?
We try to keep our site at a "PG-13" level, and a dedicated staff of moderators constantly monitors the forums to remove abusive or racist language, inappropriate images and adult content.
Gaia uses an optional word filter, which is turned on by default on all new accounts, to automatically remove inappropriate language from the forums, chat rooms and games. The word filter is continually improved and updated to keep it comprehensive and up-to-date.

Is Gaia safe?
Gaia's staff is committed to keeping Gaia safe for teens. Posting private information, such as phone numbers, is prohibited by Gaia's terms of service. We take cases of "stalking," computer hacking, abuse and harassment very seriously, and we have special staff members available to deal with these situations if they should arise.
Members can report possible cases of abuse and harassment at any time; they can simply click a "report" button, and a notification will be instantly dispatched to moderators.
Although an e-mail address is required to sign up, it is used by us only for administrative purposes (i.e. account information, password reminders, etc.), it is not made public.

Does Gaia cost money?
Membership is free, and Gaia Gold can be earned simply by posting on our message boards or visiting the site. All areas of the site are free, and members will never be charged money or asked for billing information unless they purchase site merchandise or special collectible items.
What are Collectible Items?
Members have the option of buying Collectible Items from Gaia to decorate their online character. Collectible items are virtual clothes or accessories that quickly increase in value within the Gaian economy. New collectible items are released every month, and cost $2.50 each. Under our Terms of Service, members cannot sell their collectible items to other members for real money; they can only be resold for Gaia gold. Purchases of collectible items are accepted by postal mail, secure online billing, telephone and PayPal. Members are under no obligation to purchase Collectible Items.

What Is Gaia Online And Why It’s so Popular

Usually Gaia online is called a virtual world but that isn’t real truth. It’s more virtual community (hangout if you wish) which have many different components. Thanks to 2.5D rooms it become a virtual world.

You start to participate in gaia online community by creating anime style avatar and by that you get access to many gaia applications. You also get fully customizable page like MySpace. You can change it with many different gaia layouts which you can find on our site or make an layout by yourself.

So why it’s called the World?

The picture shows gaia towns which are different forums of the gaia community.

Besides typical community feautres there are some 2.5D parts. There are also virtual economy with gaia gold which connect them. For example, you can buy your own house and buy some items there.

There are also a very cool part of gaia online where you can watch movies with your friends. In cinemas you’ll have a library of movies to choose. Some of the movies are free, but some need gaia gold to be watched.

Also, you can watch video from youtube with VJ feature. You can create your own playlist or watch you friends’ one.

Conclusion

Gaia online is very cool place to stumbling around the world. It could be very fun and exciting. Very soon, when Gaia Online MMO will be opened to everybody it’s going to become even much more amazing.
