American McGee's Grimm Episodes Get Dated

An update on the upcoming episodic title American McGee's Grimm reveals dates for episodes, but still no word on pricing.

GameTap, who will offer the weekly serial game on its PC games-on-demand service, has released dates for the first few episodes of the 24-game series, each centered on a particular Grimm fairy tale.

July 31: A Boy Learns What Fear Is
August 7: Little Red Riding Hood
August 14: The Fisherman and His Wife
August 21: Puss in Boots
August 28: The Girl Without Hands
September 4: Godfather Death
September 11: The Devil and His Three Golden Hairs
September 18: Beauty and the Beast

The cartoony platformer is currently a GameTap exclusive, but the game's creator, American McGee, has said he would also like to see an eventual XBLA release, as well as a retail version.

Even though the series launches next month, the price of each episode has yet to be announced. I think it's pricing that will really make or break the series, and it will be interesting to see how they go about pricing what has been described as 30-minute episodes.

We love John West Tuna commercials. O.k, so the actual tuna is pretty basic, comes in a can, and tastes like...tuna.

But their commercials continue to set the bar for shark cool. First we had the guy inside the Mako, then the crazy Alaskan Bear. Here's the latest installment with a focus on what else? South Africa's-Flying Sharks.

In case you were wondering, there's really no tuna in the world that will make Great Whites sit up and act like this. If there was-the crew here at Shark Diver would have bought into this company a looong time ago!

Gametap Delivers-Play JAWS For Free!

Praise be to the Shark Gods, Buddha, Jebus, or who ever you praise be to-Gametaps giving something away for free. JAWS!

Now we know this blog is not about buying things, so when we heard that you can actually play JAWS for free, we had to go play for ourselves. In JAWS Unleashed you are a freakishly large great white hell bent on oceanic destruction. About the only thing you do not have in this bloody fun game are "Frickin Lazer Beams"...too bad

It's fun to be an apex predator chomping through boats, divers, girls in bikinis...and less.

Here's the trick, you need to download the game player, the whole set up takes about 5 minutes and then it's chomping time baby!

Cue the theme -- there's an oversized shark in the water with a taste for humans. The famous Great White has returned to terrorize the Amity shoreline in Jaws Unleashed, and this time, you control the shark! They're definitely gonna need a bigger boat.

Until December 31st and then you have to pay to play or go join a real shark diving company!
