Snow Patrol new album in the works

It is pretty insane that the first post we have about Snow Patrol has taken this long considering they are one of my top five groups. After touring the globe following their release of Eyes Open, they have announced that they are in the studio.

With no tour dates announced and frontman Gary Lightbody's scatterbrained posts hardly giving any glimmer to what they are doing, we already suspected a studio announcement to come soon. What we didn't know is they will once again be working with producer Garret "Jacknife" Lee. Lee previously worked with Snow Patrol for Final Straw and Eyes Open. He also worked with big name groups U2 (How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb), Bloc Party (A Weekend in the City), Weezer (Red Album) as well as PlayRadioPlay!, Editors and many others.

Nestled in a shore-side studio in Ireland like they did when recording Eyes Open, the group has been at work for a few weeks unofficially. If you know something we don't, throw us a line. We will keep you posted as best we can. Here are a few of our favorites from Final Straw.
