Board election at Oaklon Community College

One of the incumbent board members, Michael Collins, is speaking out about plans for four-year options at Oaklon.

“We are not about to turn around into a four-year (program) without a great deal of consideration,” Mike Collins said. “That is really not what our current mission or goals are … and that’s not what we’re about.”

There are three 6-year seats available on the board. The ballot includes 4 runners - Mike Collins, George Alexopoulos, Reyes Gonzalez, and Ann Elizabeth Tennes.
