Look, I love my fellow Italians, believe me. But we can't let this one pass by without a mention. Roberto Cavalli, famous Italian fashion designer, recently said in an interview, I give into my emotions all the time. I cry easily, whether at a movie, music or vulnerable young animals, and I could never trust anyone who didn't do the same.

Designer Roberto Cavalli tells Style magazine that even though he sheds a tear occasionally, he's not gay:

"I give into my emotions all the time. I cry easily, whether at a movie, music or vulnerable young animals, and I could never trust anyone who didn't do the same. Love is central. I have never been homosexual, and I never could be. What I love most is the amazing soft skin of a woman. She doesn't even have to be naked to excite me."

I would like to state right now that I am NOT a hetrosexual.

I am sorry why do people feel they need to declare what they are not, rather than what they are?

Plus the fashion industry is probably the one place that it doesn't make a difference, heck you might get more points for being gay, so I don't see the need for the declaration. Unless of course it was personalized homophobia and he hates the fact that someone might think he is gay.

Even though I'm not much of a clutch girl (I carry way too much stuff and prefer larger bags), I still admire them from afar....while wishing I wasn't such a pack rat! If I could part with some of my stuff that I carry every day, I would snatch up both of these clutches by Roberto Cavalli.

The Roberto Cavalli Runway Suede Leaves Clutch is the perfect shade of pink (actually it's lavender but it looks like pink to me) - not hot pink and not salmon, but a pretty pastel pink that's just right for Spring. The suede material gives it a softer side and the leaf-like fringe detailing is amazing. This is quite different from Cavalli's usual cheetah/leopard prints (for those of you who like that, don't worry, it has an animal print lining) - less tacky, more feminine and sweet.

The Roberto Cavalli Runway Suede Fringe Clutch is a 70's style fringe clutch but doesn't look too hippie. I love that the fringe is various lengths and widths - there's string and petal-like fringe all over. It's also made from a neutral beige suede (and lined in animal print).

The Spice Girls thrilled fashion folk in Milan, Italy on Monday (14Jan08) when they made a surprise appearance at the city’s Fashion Week as part of a tribute to designer Roberto Cavalli.The pop stars posed with the European fashion guru, who designed the costumes for their ongoing comeback tour.Geri Halliwell told the fashion press, “His clothes make you feel sexy.” While bandmate Melanie Brown used the trip to Milan Fashion Week to pay tribute to stylish Italian men.She said, “They’re more stylish.
