Here we feature a pair of Visvim Kiefer Hi’s which are actually part of a collaboration series between two well known Japanese designers, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Takashi Murakami. They feature a black denim upper along with a white sole and white contrast stitching, including the Murakami Flower sewn in at the ankle area. The shoe’s silhouette is quite similar to that of the Converse All Star Hi. They are scheduled to release on October 31, 2008. via HF.

As a part of the ongoing collaboration between two Japanese figureheads, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Takashi Murakami, the latest product to be previewed is this Visvim Kiefer Hi collaboration that is a part of the Hi & Lo collaboration series between Fujiwara and Murakami. This Kiefer Hi features a clean Black upper but what makes this particular pair what it is, is the Murakami Flower sewn onto the upper. The shoes are scheduled to be released on October 31st. via HF

Before I begin... Ho-ly-shit. Okay, now that I have that out of the way, Louis Vuitton collaborated with Takashi Murakami to create something beautiful. Luggage set that is camouflaged, yet, still has the LV monogram to satisfy the label whore in all of us. This weekender bag is only a small portion of a greater luggage set that is on exhibit in the Brooklyn museum (of course!)... But just when you think that this series of truly unique bags would not be hitting the street due to their being museum pieces, yes, select Louis Stores WILL BE CARRYING THIS BAG FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS WEEKEND UNTIL THE SECOND WEEK IN JULY. In a relatively weak free agent market for starting pitching this off-season, Dodger GM Ned Colletti has reportedly cast overseas for help.

The (potential) catch: 95-MPH hurler Hiroki Kuroda, 32, a right-hander for the Hiroshima Carp of the Japanese Central League. Kiroda is expected to command a salary in the three-year, $22 million range. Roughly 15 major league clubs are interested.

Colletti has remained tight-lipped, but is rumored to be heavily involved in negotiations to bring the middle-of-the-rotation pitcher to Los Angeles. Current Dodger closer, Takashi Saito, is said to have a close friendship with Kuroda. www.thelakersguru.com/baseball
