Gerschweyn Matthews is a former piano student of mine and his making me proud by all the fuzz his causing with his debut single, "Letter to Tom Cruise." He is an incredibly senstive and emotive singer and is set to go far in music bizz in the US and abroad as he is South African born and currently residing in the US.
The song and video tells of the heart wrenching experience of a 6 year old boy struggling to come to terms with the suicide of his father. The boy, nicknamed Picasso blames a famous actor for the untimely death of his dad. Together the child and his therapist work through a series of dark and disturbing psychoanalytical sessions so as to uncover the reasoning behind Picasso's bizarre claim. Gerschweyn Matthews' , controversial first single "Letter to Tom Cruise" sports a quirky music video which presents Picasso's "pathology" in the form of drawings done during psychoanalyzes and is set to cement Gerschweyn Matthews as one of our times most important and influencial artists. German lawyer ARIANE BLUTTNER has filed an 11 million dollar lawsuit against actor TOM CRUISE. Meet Ariane Bluttner, the German lawyer handling an $11 million lawsuit against Tom Cruise and his production company United Artists.

Bluttner represents 12 extras who worked on Valkyrie, Cruise's WWII-era film, that say they sustained injuries, including several broken bones, cuts and bruises, while filming a scene for the film in Berlin.

Cruise was not on the set at the time, but apparently, the actors were riding in a German Army truck when the side panel broke open as the vehicle turned a corner.

Bluttner claims the studio knew the vehicles were unsafe, and even released an internal memo about them.

The 12 extras were taken to a nearby hospital after the accident. Eleven extras had a series of injuries including broken ribs and pulled ligaments. The 12th had to be kept four days for observation because doctors felt there might be other more serious internal injuries present.

Bluttner says she has sent a letter to Cruise, Paula Wagner and United Artists about the case and her clients' legal demands. She also threatens to take the case to a U.S. court if their monetary demands are not met.

Cruise and Wagner have been running United Artists together, but earlier this month Wagner announced she would be leaving the company. Valkyrie has also had it's share of setbacks suffering numerous production and scheduling problems. It is now slated for release December 26.

'Valkyrie' Trailer, Poster, and Photos

At long last, Bryan Singer's Valkyrie will arrive in theaters this winter, starring a great cast that includes Tom Cruise, Eddie Izzard, Bill Nighy, Terrence Stamp, Kenneth Branagh, and Tom Wilkinson. The film deals with a plot by several German military officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944.

The movie has had a bit of a black eye for the past several months; there were some injuries on set, the movie was kind of bounced around from release date to release date, and of course, people have been skeptical of anything with Tom Cruise in the past few years. But Valkyrie has had a good day, a very good day. We've got the new poster, some production photos, and the minutes-old trailer that debuted at Yahoo! Movies.

Removing yourself from what you already heard about this project, tell me Valkyrie doesn't look like something you'd want to see.

Psychiatrist To Tom Cruise: You’re Nuts

A television psychiatrist, Dr. Drew Pinsky, has branded Scientology’s front man Tom Cruise a nutter, crazy, loco, you know, insane. Now what would give him that impression:

As usual, Tom’s attorney, Bert “Wiretap” Fields, started barking at anyone who speaks the truth about his mentally ill client.

Note to Bert Fields: it does not help your credibility as a lawyer defending someone just because he is famous, when the whole world can see he is a mentally ill star who has terribly fallen from grace. It makes you look crazy too. People aren’t stupid. They can judge for themselves.

Your client behaved in a crazy manner on the Oprah Winfrey show, told off NBC’s Matt Lauer on morning television whilst having a deranged, snapped, psycho look on his face and in another incident of the perils of winging it without a publicist, told the press that he was going to eat his unborn baby’s placenta.

You can’t justify that kind of crazy. No one can. You can only get it a straight jacket and some medication.

And another thing, stop comparing Tom Cruise’s self-inflicted woes to the Holocaust (see below). The Holocaust was not self-inflicted.

Holocaust victims had all their worldly possessions inhumanely stolen from them, whilst Tom Cruise has millions of dollars, many cars and lives in a Beverly Hills mansion he owns.

Holocaust victims had cruel science experiments run on them. Tom Cruise is a science project waiting to happen. There is a difference.

Tom Cruise’s Lawyer Hits Back At Mental Health Claims

June 12 2008 - Tom Cruise’s lawyer has hit back at a TV doctor who questioned the star’s mental heath - calling Celebrity Rehab’s Dr. Drew Pinsky “unprofessional” and “unqualified”.

Pinsky, who is a regular on the U.S. reality show, has written an article for Playboy magazine suggesting Cruise might be mentally ill for getting involved with the Church of Scientology. The medical expert also claims the Top Gun star may have suffered some kind of childhood trauma…

But Cruise’s attorney, Bert Fields, has slammed the article - insisting Pinsky’s analysis is absurd…

“He seems to be spewing the absurdity that all Scientologists are mentally ill. The last time we heard garbage like this was from (Nazi propaganda chief) Joseph Goebbels.”

Cruise crazy over Holmes’ debut

It’s not jumping on a couch in front of millions, but Tom Cruise let his love of Katie Holmes be known again Thursday. His wife made her Broadway debut in “All My Sons” in the first preview at New York’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

“I’m so proud of her,” Holmes’s husband, Tom Cruise, told People before curtain up. “This means so much to her.”

The show opens Oct. 16.

After the show, Cruise and the rest of the audience gave Holmes a standing ovation that lasted for three curtain calls.

Dustin Hoffman, also in the audience, said: “She should be very proud of her performance. She did a fine job.”
