A recent paternity test has shown that the singer James Brown fathered the 6 year old son of a woman who claimed to be his wife when he died. The woman, named Tomi Rae Hynie, was a former backup singer of James Brown. The boy was tested in April before a judge in South Carolina ordered to have it done. Tomi Rae Hynie and the boy are not mentioned in Brown’s will. James Brown died in December of 2006.

The New York Daily News is reporting that rappers Jim Jones and Juelz Santana showed up and showed out at Chris Brown's "Exclusive" album release party at New York's Tenjune on Tuesday night. According to columnists Rush & Malloy, the rap stars showed up just after the fire marshal said the venue had reached capacity. When security refused to let them inside, Jones reportedly took it personally and got loud."You don't disrespect me, n**ga!" he reportedly yelled as he knocked down the security barricade. "Santana and the entourage then bowled over the three bouncers at the door. Twelve more guys followed and a brawl ensued as they tried to pry open the door of the popular nightspot," the paper reported. "Reinforcements from inside Tenjune swarmed out and shoved the aggressors back onto the street."

Well, I just posted photos from this event and there weren't any of Jim Jones or Juelz Sanatana arrving at the event, so if it is true, they must have came later. Also, if this story is true, that is very disrespectful and just immature. How rude can you be to fight at someone's celebration party for their album release?

A 73-year-old woman in Georgia has suddenly come forward with claims that she had been married to James Brown for the past 53 years until his death on Christmas Day made her a widow. Velma Warren Brown says she and the late Godfather of Soul were married in 1953, but she was never served with divorce papers, her attorney David Bell tells the Associated Press. Bell said his client has filed court papers in South Carolina saying she had three children with the entertainer and lived with him for 17 years. Bell also said they saw each other in December, just weeks before he died of hear failure at the age of 73. One of Brown's former backup singers, Tomi Rae Hynie, has claimed she is Brown's fourth wife, and is involved in a dispute over singer's estate.

James Brown's widow Tomi Rae Hynie has been given permission to return to the home she shared with the late soul great to collect her belongings after a face-off with her stepchildren in court.

Hynie is currently contesting her late husband's will after discovering she and her five-year-old son have been left out of inheriting anything from the Godfather of Soul.

James Brown's widow Tomi Rae Hynie has won the right to be able to choose who will become the special legal guardian for her son, after the superstar's trustees tried to appoint someone themselves. James Brown's possessions will be appraised and auctioned, in part to pay estate taxes, according to the Associated Press. Attorney Adele Pope would not confirm what is going to be auctioned, how much the possessions might be worth or how much money in estate taxes are owed.
