We all know Trisha Yearwood for her “in Love with the Boy” image, however Trisha has donned a new role these days and she is overheard singing praises of healthy living. Trisha, now, becomes the latest celebrity to endorse the prestigious got milk? stache.

After a long day’s work in the recording studio, Trisha comes home to help raise her three daughters. Growing up on a country farm herself, Trisha is now transferring over her important learned lessons of eating and drinking right into her family’s own daily routine.

“I think it’s really important to feel good about the things you put in your body. It’s not about being a size 2 or a size 12. It’s about, at the end of the day, saying, ‘I feel really good about what I ate and what I drank.’”

Since I lost so much time yesterday with the internet service provider outage, last night, I decided to stay up late to try and make up the time. And guess what?... There was an outage again last night. I finally gave up and went to bed. However, before I went to bed, I looked out of the window and saw lights on in almost every house in our cul-de-sac. It was good to know that I am not the only "Night Owl" in the neighborhood.

I got up this morning and had to remotivate myself. There is absolutely no reason why I should let myself get sucked back down into the abyss of negativity. So I just got my little self up, took a shower, baptized myself in my favorite fragrance, dressed and got "The Boy" ready for school. I drove him to school, while he remained in the back seat, "heads down", quietly reading his "Captain Underpants" book. (No, it has not yet been confiscated by his Dad. And yes, it is still being stored in its hidden location; between the rear seat and trunk). He is really growing up.

After I came home, I chatted with my husband for a while as I prepared for him a nice breakfast. Although I passed on breakfast, I did have coffee, while catching up on the news and doing few things around the house. I know that I had planned to walk around the lake, but I somehow felt the need to change my mind...just wasn't up to it this morning.

And then it was off to the library...My husband still does not understand the "draw" that the library has on me. He grew up in a country where they were kept so busy with the day-to-day tasks (going to market, fetching water, hand washing clothes...), that anything else outside of those chores and tasks would have been considered a luxury. Library visits are a necessity for me. After a library visit, I often feel better equipped to tackle the more serious aspects of my day.

Being an "at home" Mom for this long period of time, has enabled me to give "The Boy" extra attention that he needs and would not have gotten, had I been employed. This is a benefit that my husband recognizes as well. I am grateful. However, it is definitely time for me to get back out into the working world. My sister commented on it this morning. She said that I know too much about other people's business and that I need a job...soon. I laughed, but it's true.

Soon it will be time for me to pick up "The Boy" from school. Since the school year is winding down, he doesn't have a lot of homework and we spend most afternoons reviewing information for his end of year exams. I think he will do fine.

Well, it's off to picking up "The Boy", making phone calls and answering emails. Have a great afternoon everyone!
