Its hard to know what really happened at JFK. Maduro said authorities ordered him and other Venezuelan officials to spread their arms and legs and be frisked. Maduro "forcefully refused". He said officers then threatened to handcuff him.

Well, if a normal US citizen "forcefully refused" at an airport checkpoint...they might get handcuffed too.

Maduro explained, "We responded with the dignity of Venezuelan revolutionaries ... with strength."
