I'm now fully into the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and have created my first Death Knight.

And what a character!

Blizzard have out done themselves with this class which combines both a tank and mage into a great character.

Remember, to create a Death Knight you must have an existing character of at least level 55 on the server. Don't worry, your existing character does not become the Death Knight; a completely, new and separate character is created. Once you have created your Death Knight, your character appears in Acherus or Ebon Hold as it is also known. Acherus is located in the Eastern Plaguelands and floats above the Crusader village of New Avalon.

And then the fun begins...

WotLK Secrets Guide

Having used WotLK Secrets guide for a few days now, I’ve had several players asking me what I think of this guide and if it’s useful for the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft. First off, I love this guide. And second, yes, it’s extremely useful for the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.

The content is Northrend is HUGE. There is over 130 quests each for Horde and Alliance, with two separate starting zones to pick from. Of course, along with leveling up from 70 to 80, you also have the many new factions to consider, new class talents, the new inscription profession, plenty of new instances, and plenty of things that are going to require a lot more gold than you probably have. Or, maybe you want to try out the new Hero class, the Death Knight. This can seem quite overwhelming for even the most experianced WoW player.

This is where WotLK Secrets comes in. If you haven’t heard of it yet, trust me, you will. There’s been a lot of talk about this across the WoW community because of how incredibly helpful this guide has been for many players. This is a comprehensive look at all things that Wrath of the Lich King has to offer. Complete strategies and secrets covering every aspect of the new content.

System Requirements Revealed for Lich King

Blizzard Entertainment has officially revealed the system requirements for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.

In keeping with the game's tradition of requiring relatively little computing power, Wrath's official minimum requirements are very reasonable:

Operating System: Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista (Service Pack 1)
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+
RAM: 512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista users)
Video Card: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM (such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better)
Blizzard's forum post adds that the expansion will require 15GB of hard drive space, though presumably this number includes the nearly 10GB already required to play World of Warcraft.

Own a more powerful computer or a Mac? Blizzard also revealed the game's recommended system requirements as well as the necessary tech for Apple gamers:

Wrath of the Lich King should hit retail shelves on November 13, though Australian gamers will have to wait until November 14.
