Your child will be a hit with her classmates when you send her to school with this umbrella from Art.Lebedev Studio, aptly named "Fuck the Rain."

Just don't be surprised if you end up having to explain yourself to Child Protective Services.

Meanwhile, there's another umbrella on sale if you want to work out some anger issues or just plain fear for your life. (Remember, it's only assassination if you're important.)

It's the Self-Defense Unbreakable Umbrella from Real Self-Defense and it even has its own instructional video.

At first, it's cute, like Charlie Chaplin doing a trick. But it quickly turns dark with a sociopathic Gallagher watermelon murder, then a Britney-esque beating.
Scary.

The Phillipine president's security detail uses them. (Maybe they can't afford guns?) Come to think of it, after January 20th, 2009, you might want to avoid this guy.
He may not be in a very good mood. Though he'll no longer be president, he may still be dangerous.

The man I would guess Richard Nixon wishes he would have seen coming…

I don’t think he knew that he was the key to a scandal rivaling that only of President Bill Clinton’s sexy situation with Monica Lewinsky.

If someone should have…or at least could have been out to lunch or called in sick, it could have been this guy.

What’d he do? Read on!

Security guard Frank Wills had no early warning either. With a hefty paycheck of $80 a week, Wills might have had good reason to believe he was well out of History’s high beams. But in 1972, while patrolling the offices where the Democratic National Headquarters was, Frank noticed that little strips of tape was holding a few doors open. He tore them off. Coming back later, he saw that the tape had been replaced and, deciding that shenanigans were afoot, he called the police.

You all pretty much know the rest of the story. The burglars were arrested, tied to Nixon’s re-election campaign and eventually, to the President himself. Amidst charges of massively illegal behavior, Nixon finally resigned in 1974…

Frank Wills

Wills, the hard working American who was just doing his job, managed to disintegrate into obscurity almost as quickly as he’d emerged. He played himself in the 1976 movie All the President’s Men, but he didn’t even get a raise for bringing down the government. In fact, when he left the job because they apparently refused to pay for vacation time, he found he couldn’t get work anywhere else. One university told him that they didn’t want the government to withhold funding because they’d hired him as a security guard.Money went fast, and there wasn’t a whole hell of a lot of it to begin with. He couldn’t pay his electricity bill, couldn’t afford to bury his mother, and had to wash his clothes in a goddamn bucket. And not one of those fancy golden buckets. In 1983, he was sentenced to a year in prison for shoplifting a pair of $13 shoes. And that was pretty much it until he died in 2000.

Without This Person, We Might Not Have: Watergate! Whee!

The desire to add “-gate” to every scandal that makes the news. That, and an executive branch that wasn’t totally corrupt. For most of the 20th century the media had a crush on the president. Teddy Roosevelt made racist jokes, JFK chased tail, and the press blushed and wondered if the president ever thought of them when they weren’t around. Frank Wills showed the world how important accountability can be, especially when the president is a paranoid lunatic.

I might take a stroll in these. The problem for me is, I am short and my center of gravity is low. So, climbing into high heels isn’t the most comfortable feeling for me. One can appreciate the actual platform on the sole of the shoe. It seems to make this shoe more stable to walk in. Like a wedge heel.

Three basic areas that a palm reader will look for while analyzing your hands during your palmistry reading are: Lines -- Mounts -- Shapes. In this gallery of palm images we will explore the major lines and some of the better known minor lines. The photos will give you a general idea of where to look on your palm for the various lines. Of the four major lines, three of these (heart, head, and life) should be relatively easy for you to locate on your hands. The fourth major palm line is your fate line. This line is sometimes broken or faded, or may even be missing altogether. Don't worry if you cannot easily find your fate line or if any of the other minor lines shown here are missing or difficult to locate on your hands. This is a job for the palm reader to decipher. Missing, fragmented, or chained lines give clues as to what characteristics you have and how you will live your life. But, for starters, let's just look at the basic line placements.

Basic Heart Line Meanings:

Long Line: Idealistic, Dependent on partner
Short Line: Self-centered

Basic Head Line Meanings:

Long Line: Ambitious
Short Line: Intelligent, Intuitive
Deep Line: Excellent Memory

Chained Line: Mental Confusion
Forked Line: Career Change
Double Line: Talented, Inspired by a Muse

Basic Life Line Meanings:

Long Line: Good Health, Vitality
Short Line: It is a myth that a short life line means a short life. If the life line is short, look closer to other signs (broken, deep, faint, etc.)
Deep Line: Smooth Life
Faint Line: Low energy
Broken Line: Struggles, Losses
Chained Line: Multiple Walks (meaning that your life path is multifold)
Forked Line: Various meanings depending on fork placement on the hand. Generally forks indicate diversion or life change. Although they can also mean scattered or split energies.
Double Line: Partner with Soul Mate, or there is someone near (friend or family member) that serves as a guardian or caretaker.
Absent Line: Anxious, Nervous

Basic Meaning of Fate Line

Absent Line: Preplanned Life
Deep Line: Inheritance
Faint Line: Failures, Disappointments
Forked Line: Conflict or Dual Destiny
Jagged Line: Struggle, Indecisiveness
Broken Line: Trauma, Difficult Circumstance
Chained Line: Highs and Lows

Fame line gives light to the a person's fate or destiny, indicating brilliance or artistic ability enhances life purpose. Note: This line is not always present.

Love lines indicate the number of significant relationships there are in a lifetime. Sometimes it is easier to see these lines if you bend your pinky slightly toward your palm to see the line creases.

Children lines commonly root out of marriage lines indicating births that are a result of corresponding relationships.

Basic Intuition Line Meaning:

The more prominent this line appears (deeper, longer) the stronger the indication that psychic ability is a dominant characteristic for the person. Intuition lines are not the easiet to detect, and may be absent entirely.

An absent health line usually indicates that health is not an issue. Degree of sickness is indicated by the strength or weakness of this line.

It is most common to have two or three bracelets. Although, some people have only one bracelet, and having four or more is possible. More bracelets indicate a longer life, broken bracelets indicate ill health or lowering of chi energies.

Travel lines indicate travel, but can also merely indicate a desire to travel.

The shape of the Girdle of Venus is similar to a cresent moon hanging over the heart line. This palm line configuration intensifies the emotions.
