Zhang Ziyi Engaged, Says Boyfriend

Zhang Ziyi has been engaged, according to her fiancé Vivi Nevo who confirmed the rumor on Tuesday, adding that a wedding is being planned for next year.

Vivi Nevo, a low-key billionaire stockholder of Time Warner, made the rarely high-profile announcement while attending the annual conference of Allen & Company in Sun Valley, Idaho, the Associated Press reported.

Twenty-nine-year-old Zhang Ziyi, now largely based in Hollywood, accompanied Nevo to the event.

Despite being a successful business man, Vivi Nevo has always been somewhat enigmatic. His background is not available in details.

The two were first spotted together at an NBA game in January last year. There have been rumors that they had been engaged since this March, indicated by the diamond ring worn by Zhang Ziyi. The engagement was not confirmed by the actress, who told the press in June that she had no plans for marriage.

Nevo was in China with Zhang Ziyi last year when she was filming for Chen Kaige’s “Mei Lanfang,” and he paid visits to Zhang’s parents according to press reports.

Her boyfriend has confirmed their engagement to the press and stated that they are planning to wed next year.

Zhang Ziyi is engaged to marry. The actress is engaged to boyfriend, Israeli multi-millionaire and venture capitalist, Vivi Nevo.

Nevo made an announcement about their engagement while he was attending the annual conference of Allen & Company in Sun Valley, Idaho on Tuesday, July 8. He, furthermore, added that a wedding has been set to be held next year.

No words just yet on the date and venue of the planned wedding.

Does not like to talk in public about her private life, Ziyi was snapped holding hands and kissing with Nevo at an NBA game January last year. Despite the controversy that surrounded her mixed-race romance with Nevo, the beauty has publicly stated in a TV interview that she was "very happy".

Keeps adding more film projects into her acting career resume, Ziyi has been lined up to star in the upcoming drama comedy "Lost for Words" which not yet has a release date.

During the last 12 months there have been many firsts.

The first Vogue India, the first time we saw Victoria Beckham smile, now we have the first InStyle magazine for China.

Unlike Vogue India's first cover, who featured model Gemma Ward, InStyle China's cover only features the home grown talent, in the gorgeous actress Zhang Ziyi.

On the cover the actress is wearing a rose pink Louis Vuitton Spring 2008 strapless dress, with a stunning jeweled brooch.

Zhang Xinyang (no known relation to Zhang Ziyi) is China's youngest postgraduate student.

He is just 12-years old but is in his third year of graduate studies at Tianjin Engineering College. He is studying mathematics and applied mathematics.

He entered primary school at age 5. He entered college at age 10. When I was age 10 I didn't even know there was a school beyond my little primary school.

Zhang finished college in three years.

He has a superior IQ says his teacher. Gosh, really?

He is also logical and can organize his own studies.

His book interests go beyond his age level as well.

July 8th, he will be 13. (That's dog years in his academic ability.)
