The last couple of post (part 1 and 2 ) dealt with the crucial success element of focus . In the last one, we dealt with the importance of having long term focus if you want to achieve your goals. Here we are going to look at the need to remain focused in the short term. Productivity is the ability to get things done. It is that simple. Focus is the quality which enables us to do that. We need to focus upon a particular task until it is completed. Remember, the world rewards for things that are finished. Maintaining our present concentration is ... Read Full Story

Click here to read the story. What a surprise. We have another crooked politician on our hands. This one, however, was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He took "improper" gifts. To me, that is a nice term for "payoff" (kickback or bribe also works). This is an example of the corruption at it's worst. So what does this say about the people in our government? Some will try to proclaim this was only a "bad apple" among many fine individuals who adhere to the rules. What a bunch of crap that is. If you do not believe that all our fine ... Read Full Story

We eclipsed all of ... Read Full Story

BUNA, Texas – The one that didn't get away held an unlikely surprise for a Texas man. The blue-stoned class ring of Joe Richardson , engraved with his name, turned up inside an 8-pound bass 21 years after he lost it while fishing on Lake Sam Rayburn . "My first reaction was — you gotta be kidding," he said Wednesday. The fisherman who discovered the tarnished ring inside his catch contacted Richardson on Nov. 28 in Buna, about 100 miles northeast of Houston, after tracking him down with help from the Internet. His fisherman hero asked to remain anonymous. Richardson, 41, said he lost ... Read Full Story
