     School has become a place to put children for the day.  Our society has avoided the RIGHT OR WRONG of compulsary education, and has decided to force all children to attend school.  In many parts of the United States parents are put in jail, and their pictures are plastered on the newspaper, like a special type of terrible criminal.  I live in Ocala Florida and the Ocala Star Banner uses the front page of their paper to write and picture those who don't force their children to go to school each day.  Judges here somehow think that parents CAN EITHER FORCE ATTENDANCE, or ... The thing that should be done in school is provide tools and ideas so that students can get ahead in THEIR EDUCATIONS.  It is not a place for school board glorification, or steady work for teachers, or the place where cities play one another for football glory.  Schools are centers of education, or they are wasting lots of time and money for taxpayers and students. .
