The levels are increasable by exercising, bathing, feeding and playing with the pet. If the levels are lowerd to much, the pet will need to take special medicine that can be bought at the virtual clinic. Playing in the digital world is all about spending and earning KinzCash. To earn KinzCash you can play games, and answer quizzes. Earning KinzCash makes it possible to spend it on your digital pet wich will keep them well and happy. Once a user registers a pet, they are allowed to use the website free for one year.. After beeing registered a year the user is required to register another pet to get one more year of playtime

Some concerns have been raised over the unsafe chat system encorporated in the Webkinz World. There are very good rules for all the people who chat, the way messages are sent are also restricted, and there is a dictionary in place to stop bad language from the chat boards and messages. Kids are only allowed to chat using predeffined phrases that are accessible thru a dropdown menu that contains atleast 900 phrases. They will not be able to type on the system at all.
