The Zimmer Durom Hip is Failing, Start Your Suit

Many American's receive joint replacements each year. With the advent of modern day hip replacements, elderly individuals can extend the number delighted and active years. Due to this procedure becoming such a normal occurrence, a majority of the public do not question their health care professional, nor do they question the manufacturer of the joint replacement hardware about the quality assurance or the technology that is being used. This has unfortunately caused serious injury and damages to yourself or to your loved ones. The reasons are numerous why either yourself or one of your loved ones might have undergone a Zimmer Durom hip replacement surgery, the end result is that you or your loved one could now be in a dangerous situation. Hip replacement procedures which are also known as hip arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure that has become commonplace and consists of removing the hip joint and replacing it with a man made prosthetic implant. Often after the initial hip replacement surgery there is a need for a revision, or a further surgery to correct issues with the implant. Zimmer Durom went ahead and funded a study, the findins showed that 8 percent of patients required a second surgery, a revision with the next 24 months. This significant revision percentage has basically led the medical and legal communities to accept that the issue is the device itself and not the way in which it was inserted during surgery.
