New Music Videos: MS MR, Michael Bublé, Mumford & Sons, 78Violet

(YouTube)A handful of artists have released very different music videos over the past few days, ranging from the sugary sweet to the cartoonishly retro. Here's the latest...

On Tuesday, MS MR dropped their dizzying video for "Think of You," a dizzying homage to the television of the early 80s. The band is set to embark on their first North American headline tour this fall behind their absolutely excellent album Secondhand Rapture, kicking things off September 16 in Montreal.

Michael Bublé's clip for "Close Your Eyes" will be a big hit with the moms and aunts, thanks to its heartwarming collection of happy, triumphant, and patriotic snippets. It's like all of Hallmark's greeting cards got together and made out for three and a half minutes.

On Sunday, Franz Ferdinand released the Jonas Odell-directed clip for "Right Action," a kooky lead single off the band's upcoming album Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, which drops August 26. It's way stylish, but of course it is.

Mumford & Sons's music video for "Babel" is very, very Mumford & Sons, i.e. black and white and extremely earnest. The beards are really feeling it, y'all!

The artists formerly known as Ally & AJ are now known as 78violet, and they've grown up quite a bit. The duo's new video for "Hothouse" is almost eight minutes long and packed with gorgeous hair, gorgeous outfits, and gorgeous scenery. Where's the Pinterest board for this thing?

There are plenty of sexy people in KAPTN's new video for "Ricky Ricardo," but it's still kind of nightmarish. Maybe it's the nipple clamps. Dirty.
