(Getty Images)more pics » Amy Ryan, the Academy Award-nominated actress perhaps better known to viewers as Holly Flax from The Office, announced that she and fiance Eric Slovin have welcomed a new baby girl into the world. According to the folks over at PopEater, Georgia Gracie Slovin was born on October 15 in a New York City hospital. It's the first child for the couple.

After her turn in the critically acclaimed series The Wire, Ryan did a series of guest spots as the love interest to Steve Carell on NBC's hit sitcom The Office. In between all that, she also had a major role in the Ben Affleck-directed drama Gone Baby Gone, for which she picked up an Oscar nom for Best Supporting Actress.
Speaking to People magazine, a rep for the actress said, "All are doing well and so happy." Congrats to the happy couple!
