

She said: “I was the awkward kid who was short and had braces and looked like I was perpetually eight years old. I hated when people laughed at me.”
The House Bunny star also revealed she loves appearing in comedy movies because of the joy the films bring to people -- and she even likes it when people think she is as stupid as her characters in real-life.
She told Corduroy magazine: “Keenen Ivory Wayans once told me that ‘There is no vanity in comedy’. When I immerse myself into a character, I really just try to have fun and not judge them. If people think I’m an idiot or a stupid person in real life, then so be it. That’s OK."
The 34-year-old actress – who is married to her Take Me Home Tonight co-star Chris Pratt – is adamant comedy is not easier to tackle than serious drama.
She said: “I don’t want to embrace the idea that comedy is somehow easier or less respectable than drama. There are a lot of bad comedies but there are also a lot of bad dramas.”
