Los Angeles, CA (December 8, 2008)- Professional golfer Anna Rawson earned her full LPGA tour card for 2009 this past Sunday after a week of solid golf at LPGA Qualifying School in Daytona Beach, firing 71, 71, 68, 71 and 71. Over five rounds, Rawson shot under par every day. On Friday, she hit 18 greens and never shot over over par. She finished 12th overall.
I am most excited to again have the opportunity to compete against the best in the world," said Rawson of her entry into the LPGA.
When asked how she would celebrate, Rawson replied " I will have a glass of champagne on my flight to Dubai", where she will play next week in Annika's last event the 2008 Dubai Ladies Masters.
