Even after actress and Fox News correspondent Stacey Dash drew backlash for her disparaging comments on Black History Month and specialized celebrations as a whole, she refuses to go away.
Dash made a surprise appearance at the 2016 Oscars Awards to reference her blunder directly.
"Happy Black History Month," she blurted out inexplicably, while the audience cringed.
Almost immediately afterward, Dash posted a link to her blog on Twitter entitled "'Who is Stacey Dash' and why did I just walk across the #Oscar stage?" That said, her motivation for the appearance was clear.
While the cameo was uncomfortable and wildly awkward, certain celebrities in the audience managed to lighten the mood.
