President Obama Reads Mean Tweets, Burns Donald Trump on 'Kimmel'
This is a must-see.
President Barack Obama made a grand return to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, where he delighted the masses by reading the silliest mean tweets written about himself for the audience. This was Obama's second time narrating unflattering sentiments on the show — his first being back in March — an activity undertaken by many a celebrity guest. We, however, are particularly partial to this appearance.
Relevance is everything.
Of the many hilariously bad 140-character jabs read, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's happened to have been one of them.
"President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!" Trump wrote in August.
But the highlight of the segment was Obama's reaction to Trump's tweet. Taking a moment for good measure, the President issued a sharp response to the tune of, "Well, @RealDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a 'president.'"
While visiting with Kimmel, Obama also shared that he laughs at this year's presidential debates "most of the time." See the segment below, and head to Kimmel's YouTube channel for more mean tweets.
