Battle of the Fictional TV Bands

Before he got into acting, Dr. Tobias Funke (David Cross) and his family formed a folk band who shilled for a corporate drug company by writing songs about questionable new drugs. As Arrested Development's narrator explained: “The group was underwritten by the Natural Life Food Company, a division of ChemGrow, an Allyn-Crane Acquisition, and part of the Squimm Group. Their motto was simple: ‘We keep you alive.’”
