What We Can Learn About Each 'Hunger Games' District from These New Propaganda Posters

(LionsGate)When the first two movies of a four-part franchise earn more than a $1.5 billion, the marketing team can afford to spend a little dough on making flashy promotional materials. As such, The Hunger Games series has one of the most elaborate, slick-looking hype sites ever created for a movie in CapitolCouture.pn. The site takes the point of view of the Capitol, and feels like Panem's version of Vogue or Vanity Fair. (Check it out — it's incredible how much detail there is and how seriously the concept is taken.)
With Mockingjay five months away, CapitolCouture has the buzz machine up and running with pro-Capitol propaganda posters profiling seven of Panem's districts. They're supposed to inspire allegiance to the Capitol, but what are these posters really saying?
District 12: Where child labor isn't just legal, it's encouraged!

District 10: Where homeless hipsters can be with their goats in peace.

District 9: Where every meal is Cream of Wheat.

District 7: Where you better have good health insurance.

District 6: Our pants aren't comfortable, but they've got great traction.

District 4: Where a net is also a dress.

District 3: If you thought Google Glass was obnoxious, wait until you come here!
