Interactive 'Moonrise Kingdom' Script Is Totally Awesome

Focus Features

Wes Anderson
fans received a serious treat Wednesday, as an incredibly cool interactive script from Moonrise Kingdom hit the Web.

The nearly 200 page interactive script offers a photo rich, behind-the-scenes look at the Oscar nominated screenplay. It's gorgeous, and fully deserves to be seen on as big a screen as possible. But if you happened to let your friend borrow your 72-inch monitor, don't worry. It also looks fantastic on mobile devices.

Among the script's highlights are production notes, beautiful full-sized images from the set, and of course, all the wonderful words. Written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, the film tells the story of two precocious (what's new?) kids who fall in love and run away together into the wilderness. Like most Anderson films, the film is carried by its wonderful cast, which includes Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, Edward Norton, and Bruce Willis.
