George Clooney Doesn't Want Kids, But He's Like a Dad to Shailene Woodley

Getty ImagesGeorge Clooney is an eternal bachelor and has no problem admitting it. He doesn't want to get married (again), doesn't want kids, and hasn't dated anyone for longer than a couple of years in ages. He's rich and famous and handsome and that's good enough.

But there's kind of one exception to this rule. The actor is "like my second dad," says actress Shailene Woodley. They starred together in her first movie The Descendents back in 2011 and developed a strong bond. “He’s got my back," she explained.

“I’ve never met somebody in the industry who’s more grateful, who pays it forward without talking about it in the press or speaking about it to anyone else," Woodley added. "That to me was the best advice, just learning through his actions.”

For that matter, Clooney is also like family to close friend Sandra Bullock's young son Louis, too. She's been friends with the silver fox for years and explained that the star got along great with her little guy on the set of their flick Gravity. Bullock said in a 2013 interview: "My son thinks he's a very cool dude. If there was a choice between me and George and [director] Alfonso [Curaón], my son will leave to go with George and the guys. He's a boys' boy — he has to go and talk to the men."

So, basically, we've gathered that Clooney is great with little kids and teenagers. So why doesn't he want kids of his own again? Fifty-two is a totally reasonable age to start a family in Hollywood...
