Marvel's upcoming space opera promises a very different breed of superhero.
The summer movie season is here, but we'll have to wait until August to see this year's strangest, and possibly greatest offering, Guardians of the Galaxy. As part of our extended look at the summer movie season (check out our full guide to the 33 biggest movies here), we've put together five info-graphics for five of the most anticipated movies of the next few months. Today's graphic breaks down the strange and wonderful characters from Guardians of the Galaxy. Just to be clear, this is a hugely anticipated movie with a blockbuster budget that stars a space raccoon, a sentient tree, a green space lady, and Benicio del Toro in a crazy white wig. But once you get past the initial shock, it all seems pretty great. Chris Pratt slimmed down and packed on some serious muscle for his starring role as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, but his Parks and Recreation charm appears to be completely in-tact.
